Hooray! This project is fully funded
We are students learning in a fun urban environment in Chicago. This class is comprised of second graders who follow a third grade level curriculum. We are asking parents and friends to donate to our options classroom.
"It takes a village to raise a child is an African proverb that means that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment." - Hillary Clinton
Our school is located in the heart of Chicago. We are fortunate to have great students and parents. Our neighborhood and specifically our school is an amazing village, teaching children from across the city. These students will greatly appreciate your community support in donating toward the requested items.
We are consistently working towards a great 2019-2020 school year! Thank you.
Parents have shown interest in giving to the classroom. This project was created with the goal of raising money for various classroom items.
The requested rugs will enhance our learning experience in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.
We are requesting a rug for our morning meetings and a rug for our reading/library area.
Students will utilize the morning rug to share information with one another. We will also use the rug to help enhance our math lessons throughout the school year.
Your donation towards the classroom rug will encourage classroom discussions as well as help create a kind and caring classroom community.
We have additional items requested. We will use the class set of books for our novel study, and the additional items are for organizational purposes.
