I teach for the School District of Philadelphia in a very low income school. All my students receive free lunch and come from broken down homes. Most of these children are raised by foster families or by their grandparents.

My students face a very essential missing component that is attractive and comfortable. I move my students front and center several times during the day and the addition of this rug will make it possible to make this more exciting. It will enhance my students' learning and help extend their attention spans by being able to provide them with a nice comfortable rug that they can learn on.

The resource I need is the gift of a classroom rug, a small request at that, will make the greatest difference in my classroom. With all of the other supplies I am buying for my class, I cannot possibly afford this rug. Your donation can make all the difference in my classroom.

My students need a comfortable, attractive and educational rug for our read alouds, class meetings, math and literacy centers and direction instruction. Please help make a difference with my project. Give my students a place to call their own. Give me and my students a new rug to start off our new year with each other.This will be the best gift of all and I thank you in advance!
