My Students

I am a third grade teacher in Malden, MA. Currently, I have 28 students in my class. My class is filled with motivated students who want to learn and be successful. Some of these students have faced more challenges as a 9 year old than some adults. I'm striving to make our classroom a safe and hard-working environment. Being a teacher in this community has been so rewarding. When our last project was funded, students were so surprised that people could be so generous. I want to show students that if they are determined they can accomplish their goals.

My Project

Having this rug would give students the opportunity to have whole group instruction in all academic areas! Also this rug would benefit the students when they are turn and taking or when they have flexible seating time! In my class students are able to sit whereever they learn best! They get the chance to sit on wobble chairs, stools, benches, and bean bags! Having a rug gives children more areas to choose from! I am looking forward to another fabulous year with my students! I can truly say my students are so excited to walk into their classroom because donors are so considerate and have made our classroom an exciting and safe place to be for all students!
