My Students

I teach at a truly diverse charter school located directly in the middle of downtown Kansas City. My students learn through real-life discovery and hands-on inquiry. Our building is a a truly unique building with a strong family support system.

My students are bright, talented and caring individuals.

They work hard and love to learn. They are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. These kids strive to be the best that they can be, even with all of the challenges that they face.

My Project

A new classroom rug will allow my students a clean and comfortable place to sit to be able to work all together. It will provide them a work space that will help to bring them all together and motivate them.

This rug will provide a learning space that the students can utilize to be able to work in whole group, small group and partner opportunities.

Our current rug was in the room from the previous teacher. It is very old and stained. The students would love a space that is new to them. They will take really good care of this rug.
