Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most students love creating art projects. If funded my class will create a variety of art creations.
My students are very special to me.
This has been one of the best classes I have ever had. They are very caring and loving to me and to each other. Our school works very hard every day to teach our students what they need to know to be successful. We care about each and every one of them. Every Day! Every Class! Every Student! Can succeed. That is what we believe. Our school also believes that every one of our students is a hero.
My Project
These resources will help my classroom by providing materials for art projects. They will create images of themselves. The curly hair and cut outs will make these more fun to make. The ideas are endless. The rubbing plates will be used during center time. First they will complete a rubbing and then they will write about it. The stencil family will be fun to illustrate and learn about my students families. There are so many activities we could accomplish with these supplies.
As a teacher I still feel that it is important for students to have fun and to be able to express themselves.
Art projects are one way to accomplish this. Not all students are great at academics and some are great at art. I love giving my students opportunities to complete art projects. This project will help me have more art in my classroom. Thank you!
