RSMS Library Makerspace: Makers Gonna Make

Help me give my students a makerspace table in our library! We need a collaborative table, storage cart for materials, and a STEM activity to get started. The makerspace will help our students discover and create.

My Students

The students at my school are energetic, unique and enthusiastic about new ideas and projects. Since it is a middle school, these students are trying to figure out this new phase of life full of change and responsibility. This is my first year working at a middle school and I am amazed at how they are adapting to these changes.

The students at this middle school love new opportunities to discover and create something new.

By adding to our library, we hope to make this happen!

My Project

Our middle school library wants to expand and adapt to our students needs. We hope to further their education by adding new seating and materials to the library such as a maker-space table and STEM projects such as robotics.

By adding a maker-space to our library, our students will have a collaborative space to create and discover with hands-on experiences like STEM activities.

This will further their learning about how the world works and help them discover something new as well. These type of experiences will help prepare them for the future and learn to adapt to our changing world.
