My students need 2 computers and a flash drive in our small-sized classroom, so they are able to better research on particular topics in gifted education.
Don't you remember the days where we had no technology and it took us hours of agony researching? What fun is that? Help us get updated, working computers and excite my students education by funding our project.
My gifted students currently attend a public Montessori school just off the coast of Georgia, who are in grades three through five.
Over one-third of our population is gifted at our school. They come from many different cultural backgrounds and walks of life. There is a nice range of students, varying in many different areas. Their abilities vary from creativity to high ability or in achievement. Some are hard working, while others are not as motivated. They come to my tiny classroom to meet gifted objectives by researching and to be challenged. But unfortunately, we keep losing our dated computers and haven't been able to replenish them. Now we are stuck not having the technology like we use to, so we have been unable to appropriately serve these gifted kids the technology services they require. Therefore, I need your help!
It would be beneficial to have a couple of computers to better research and further encourage these students to learn! They would just love it, and so would I!
My Project
We are asking for three simple requests to change the lives of many students: two laptop computers and a flash drive to save their work. These energetic students thrive on technology. They adore exploring the world around us and being on the computer. What better way then to fund us with laptops and a flash drive, so these students can research and do fun projects on the computer. They'll find more enjoyment in school while learning with your help.
I just love watching the smiles on my students' faces when they get excited. It has been awhile since I have seen this for my students, and I think getting more computers and a flash drive would really liven up my classroom and allow my students the opportunity to explore many possibilities, all with your help.

These students are the ones that need to be fulfilled. They will one day be our leaders, and I want to teach them how to properly research and use the computer. They in turn can share with others what they have learned and be excited about learning in the process.
