Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My physics students are curious and interested in our world. They are an incredibly diverse group from around the world. Many speak other languages, yet all come together to learn. Regardless of their culture, all families want their children to learn everything they can and prepare for a successful future.
Like most students today, they infuse technology into all of their activities.
Having access every day helps them learn about physics. Science classes are great for allowing all students to integrate technology into learning concepts.
My Project
Physics is hands-on and active. The paper trays and rotating desk caddies allow students easy access to every day supplies like scissors, pencils, pens, markers and more. Allowing students to have a rotating supplies in arms reach makes for a much more efficient classroom.
Organizing the class and papers is going to be a bigger challenge next year.
Our science labs are likely to be in the process of remodeling. So it is essential to fit class materials on a cart for easy transport. The rotating caddies and paper trays that stack should allow students easy access to needed supplies woud be helpful.
