My school is located in a small town in Livingston Parish. I teach students with varied learning styles and physical exceptionalities.
I try to incorporate varied activities, games and skills to meet the needs of each student.
My students are eager to learn and are very motivated to participate during my lessons everyday. The students here are very accepting of the varied physical capabilities/abilities of each individual. I am very happy to teach the students here at Doyle Elementary.
I dedicate my efforts to help my students meet their individual potential with relation to the standards that are implemented throughout the year.
It is also my goal to bring students to fruition in finding self-confidence with the delivery of activities in a meaningful, fun-filled, memorable way. I strive to leave a positive impact that will influence my students to share with others. I want my students to have positive memories and mindsets that they will carry with them for years to come.
My Project
Scooter activities are great for upper body strengthening, core strengthening, coordination, endurance, and more! We use scooters with all grades and all ability levels. With scooters, we have the ability to target a wide array of skills in a fun and interesting way. Set up and take down are quick and simple with scooters which is another reason they are frequently used. We can utilize the maximum amount of class time with scooters without having to waste time with setup or clean up. All 400 students I see everyday would benefit from having these scooters to use during our P.E. class.
