My Project

The students in my classes love hands on learning and will benefit greatly and in several different ways from this project. I want my students to benefit from the air purification abilities of the plants we are caring for as well as learn about biodiversity and plant reproduction. Students will learn how different plants have different care requirements and how to meet those requirements.

Studies have shown that a planted classroom is more soothing for students and a safe environment is important for academic performance and student success.

These materials will improve academic performance by contributing to students feeling safe and relaxed. In addition, students will also be surrounded by oxygenating live plants that will purify our air. This project will enhance the classroom experience for all students and will help them develop great plant care techniques.
