My students are curious, creative, and are master thinkers. They love any kind of activity that is hands-on, engaging, and challenging. My students come to school everyday ready to learn, try new activities, and are able to build relationships with their peers.
Our school is located in Marlow, OK.
We are a very close community. The people of Marlow are so supportive of all our students.
Each child in my classroom thrives with hands-on learning. They are able to explore & create. They can think outside of the box. We incorporate team work, partner work, and independent work to help students succeed. They are a true blessing in my life.
My Project
These books I am requesting go along with a literacy unit I use in our reading black called Rooted in Reading. It chooses a read aloud each week of the year to focus on, and includes wonderful lesson plans to integrate literacy skills, writing, reading, vocabulary, spelling, art activities, and much more. All of the activities are based around the book of the week. I have purchased majority of these books to have in my own personal library, but would love to have the May unit books. I love adding fun creative lessons that the kids can't get enough of. They always learn so much when including these books. It is a great addition with our school reading series.
This would be an amazing addition to teaching the reading series.
I feel it will greatly enhance my students' learning.
