Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My goal is to grow a strong foundation of little thinkers through inquiry-based learning. I would like to give our youngest students in a diverse, K-6 school a opportunity to develop a LOVE of STEM-based education.
These materials will be used for Daily STEM Centers where K-1 students will solve problems, use critical thinking skills, and innovate together.
During STEM centers our little students will use the scientific method in their journals, gather items and test their hypothesis using dynamic and developmentally appropriate materials for 5 and 6 year olds. Our youngest learners need challenging experiences to develop a passion for critical thinking and STEM education. I am hoping you can give our students that opportunity!
