My Students

I work at an elementary school that services several low income families. Our students come to school excited to learn, and a hug goes a long way to making our day extra special. I plan to use these products to enhance lessons at each students personal level.

My class has small group rotating centers, and these will each be a learning center to learn literacy and simple kindergarten math.

We have low to high functioning students, and these items will suffice for all.

My Project

Our students learn best with hands on experiences. The magnetic letters will help with letter recognition, letter sounds, vowels, spelling, cvc words, and sightwords. We will have small group learning activities daily, I plan to use the letters on our 8x11 magnetic whiteboards that each student currently has. The math product will give them a hands on visual for simple addition and subtraction. We have high functioning to very low level students, and these items will assist well for all levels. I have requested two of the math sets, as we have fewer math aides than we have for literacy.
