Room 13 Needs a Classroom White Board!

My students need a classroom white board. Our current white board is a sheet of material used for shower tiles. It is difficult to write and erase on it. Thank you!

My Students

A classroom white board allows for teachers and students to show their strategies for the entire class to see. Our current white board is difficult to erase and as a result, students have a hard time reading anything written on it.

My lovely 3rd grade students hail from Mexico, Vietnam, Somalia and Tonga, to name a few.

Many of them come from families living in poverty. They attend a school with teachers who are very dedicated to providing them the best education possible. I've worked with many of them since Kindergarten and love them dearly!

My Project

Having a clean white board will help my students better grasp math, reading, writing, social studies and science concepts as they are written or drawn on the board. Additionally, they will feel a sense of pride knowing they have a real white board in their room.

The white board is the front of the class.

It sets the tone for the room. If Room 13 is given the opportunity to have a brand new board, it will only add to the incredible learning that is happening in our room.
