Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 18 diverse students who are full of energy. They are vibrant, fun, curious, love to read and are always on the move!
Kindergarten is a very important year!
It is during this time that we lay the foundation for literacy and math skills. However, it is also an important time in building emotional and cognitive development and promoting social learning.
It is my hope to provide a variety of opportunities to meet my students' different learning styles. This project will help our class do just that!
My Project
Reading time is the best part of our day and the most important part of my students learning. Our classroom is in need of a student listening center. Reading is the foundation of all learning and it is so important that students have access to fun and exciting books that they will want to listen to and read over and over.
My students are always on the move and wobble chairs are an alternative seating option for students who need more movement to stimulate the brain and increase learning.
Wobble stools provide them a constant release of energy allowing them to focus on their educational tasks.
