My students need a warm and comfy Triangles Area rug to gather for community meeting and whole group learning experiences.

My scholars are intelligent, inquisitive, and creative. We are a class full of leaders that believe by working collaboratively, we all learn and grow. Students come in every morning prepared to take charge of their education, and they leave knowing that they are one step closer to achieving the goals they have set for themselves. We have a strong, classroom community and every member is empowered by knowing they have a fierce voice, powerful thoughts, and an influential support system.
The future of the world is in my classroom today!
My scholars are fearless and loved. Our school rests in a community enriched with history and the students I teach will one day have the opportunity to give back to that community. Knowledge is power, community is strength, and love is everything.
A rug in the classroom is a big deal for my first graders. First, it is a safe space for all students to gather and share their thoughts and ideas. Second, a classroom rug allows students to have another space to complete work or read books. Many of my scholars love the idea of having the rug as an alternate workspace. Lastly, they are warm and cozy.
Our first graders will be transitioning to a room that has a tile floor, so we are in dire need of this requested Triangles area rug.
It will also help reduce noise in the classroom, which will benefit scholars who are easily distracted. The rug will also help prevent fewer slips in the room.
