Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are awesome and all have the biggest hearts. They try their hardest in my physical education class. I know how much they love physical education class and I work so hard to make connections every day by teaching them ways to make good choices to be healthy and active in and outside of PE class.
I want to be able to provide the best I can offer and that is why I want to provide different experiences with multiple activities.
My Project
My students need experience to learn their strengths. Without the opportunity, how would they know if they can be good at it?! My love and enthusiasm for roller skating will carry over into my basic lessons with my students. They will develop a passion to at least want to try and they will have fun! The roller skates are obviously imperative for the unit and with the protective gear, it will give them a sense of trust.
I just want my students to have as many opportunities and experiences that I was opened up to!
