My Students

My kindergarten students are so full of love and life. I teach at a Title I school, and the majority of the school receives free and reduced lunch. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekends. Despite their hardships, my students are always eager and ready to learn.

The excitement on their faces when they are praised for their accomplishments and hard work ethics is something I love to see every day.

My goal, as their teacher, is to provide them with every resource possible to ensure that they stay successful students throughout their educational career.

My Project

My students need a whiteboard kidney shaped table to enrich their guided reading experience. This whiteboard kidney table will help the students to express their thoughts/though processes and allow them to deepen their understanding of the guided reading text.

Whiteboard kidney shaped tables allow the students to become an interactive part of the guided reading experience while also allowing them to practice their handwriting skills at the same time.

This whiteboard table will be used every day during guided reading groups and it will enrich the students learning by allowing them to connect to the text with a deeper meaning.
