Rocking Out With Robots

My students need to increase their abilities in coding in the classroom by utilizing this amazing, hands-on, Dash and Dot Robot set with an iPad.

My Students

This class is one of the most inventive group of risk takers and challengers ever. We are constantly pushing the creative limits and are often found laughing and sharing ideas and stories. We are really excited about all of the uses for technology in the classroom. The ability to make choices that benefit us as individual learners has helped us build autonomy and we are soaring.

This diverse group of students come from many different backgrounds and enjoy celebrating their differences and similarities.

My Project

We are coding like crazy here in the classroom and it's time we put our skills to the test with the Dash & Dot Robot. The iPad will be our hub station for getting this robot to move and groove throughout the classroom as we create patterns and sequences of coding. Students will get a taste of what it means to create a successful system by observing the fruits of their labor.

Integrating a technology device/gadget to our recent coding lessons, will increase our drive to push through the trial and errors and we will master our growth mindset through successes and triumphs of watching our robot in action.

Our future is technology and we are ready for it!
