This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are simply AMAZING! They come from low-income households and cannot afford basic school supplies. My students are enthusiastic learners who love making creative, hands on projects as we explore and learn new things during remote learning. Having the necessary materials would make this journey so much easier!
My Project
What a journey this has been! We have come a long way since NYC schools were closed. At first, we weren't sure if lessons and daily interactions would be possible, but thank goodness for technology! K/1-125 has been enjoying every bit of virtual learning but unfortunately, there's only so much we can do without supplies. With your help; however, we can definitely keep our projects and activities going! Please consider donating to our classroom. My kindergartners, first graders and I would be ever so grateful! Thank you so much for supporting teachers and classroom!
