Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Everyday our students walk into our classrooms and they are excited and eager to learn. They are happy to be at school, and we are thrilled to see their happy, smiling faces! All of the students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch as we are a Title I school in North Carolina.

We want our students to be successful, but how can they be if they do not have all of the necessary materials?

Many of our students do not have a lot, but they are appreciative for what they do have. We want our students to know that they are cared for by giving them the materials they need to learn.

My Project

`My students love using flexible seating to help them learn! It makes our classroom a more comfortable, inviting and welcoming place to learn. My students have enjoyed using flexible seating and I am excited to give them many more options with this project.

The wobble stool and book bins would be an incredible addition to our classroom and would allow the students to have more choices in their classroom seating.

These new materials will create a more engaging environment and make students more eager to come to our classroom and learn each day. Students will also have the opportunity to be even more successful!
