My Students

My students are a great group of kids who are interesting and insightful! They have such amazing ideas. They are creative and interesting. They love art! They love reading and gathering together around my table for learning projects, extra support and enrichment. They are at a variety of reading levels, so learning with their peers and reading with like leveled students is really important for their learning. They grow so much when they read with others and with the teacher.

My Project

These items address sensory needs in my classroom, but also provide seating for our kidney table that really works with the spacing requirements of the spot. I have a collection of chairs around my kidney table but they just don't fit. This would allow me to use stools so the kids have room to move around and fidget to their heart's content. It also provides bands I can put on the chairs of those who are always rocking in their chairs as a sensory tool. And it provides one new bean bag chair in our room for those who need a different space to learn in.
