Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My scholars come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and their drive to learn is amazing.
What I admire about my 8th Graders is their willingness to be curious about others independently and as a group.
They ask insightful questions about situations they have and situations I hope they never have to deal with. They hope for a better world, some focus on our school and neighborhood and some worldly thinkers.
All in all, these students show me each day they want a future that has promise for them and they are working hard each day to step into their greatness.
My Project
It's time to prep for the annual test! These materials will be used as students focus their attention on practice activities and track their own progress. Their at home learning will include sharing their growth that they chart in their new notebooks with their families on the weekends. Students will also be able to take the flash cards home to practice their multiplication skills.
Students will have the opportunity to use these materials to strengthen their skills, note their growth and reflect on what more they need to do to show a year's worth of learning!!
