My students are diverse, unique and energetic about learning. They are passionate and take learning serious! I have a class which is mixed with multiple nationalities, abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds.
This class has 21 unique learning styles which are eager to learn!
This means 21 individual needs that will need to be met, 21 different backgrounds and 21 wonderful minds that are ready to learn.
I am so excited for this upcoming year to help engage my students and meet their needs. Hands-on math is where all the learning happens in my room. These manipulatives will really help elevate learning in our room!
My Project
My students need hands-on manipulatives that focus on the building number sense to explore with during math time. They will use these requested Rekenrek Counting Frames and Pop-Up Center to explore their ability through building and counting! These Rekenreks will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we explore math. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning number sense, and exploring counting skills.
