My Students

Desks just don't cut it! Floors are hard and uncomfortable! Reading is a challenge every day for my students, and giving them a comfortable place to read each day will help motivate them.

I have a 5th grade resource classroom that currently services 15 students with reading disabilities.

Reading is a struggle everyday. Their capabilities range from Preprimer to 4.5 grade level. Our school is new. We are on our 3rd year, and resources are very limited.

My Project

Putting books in kids' hands and inspiring them to want to read is the key. I would like to provide an incentive reading area to help all of my kids earn the "privilege" to rock and read. Although I am only requesting 3 rocker chairs at this time, I would eventually like to build a classroom where all my kids can ROCK AND READ!

Your support will help buy 3 vinyl floor rockers that will last many years.

The students will be eager to come to class and get the opportunity to read. Help me build better readers by putting the FUN in reading!
