Hello, this year I am continuing into station or interval teaching where students rotate through different learning targeted stations during their 45 minutes in my classroom. In order to create fun, engaging, and memorable stations I am also seeking flexible seating options suitable for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. These kids deserve a fun, comfortable, and engaging seating plan that will help them be confident in their learning.
My Project
While in school, students are in an uncomfortable setting for 6-7 hours a day. My goal is to create a space that my students feel at home in. I learn best when I am surrounded by a space that helps me choose where I can best learn. For some, that means movement. For others, that means being in a chair away from others.
These alternative seating options will help my students have the freedom to choose seating that will help them be comfortable, focused, and engaged in their learning within the classroom.
