I have the pleasure of teaching 19 first graders in South Carolina. My students are excited and full of energy from the moment I greet them at the door each morning! I love how my students are excited about school and are eager to learn each day.

My Project
My DonorsChoose project will improve my first-grade students' ability to focus on what they need to learn at school, while also moving at the same time. My students love to get up and move around, dance, sing, and wiggle whenever possible! Why not give them the opportunity all day?
Giving my students these wobble stools, chair bands, chair cushions, and yoga balls will ENCOURAGE them to move throughout the day, while also learning!
These different seating choices will benefit my students throughout our day during whole group instruction, small group instruction, partner work, and independent work. My first graders will be able to collaborate in a comfortable work area with these awesome new flexible seating options!
