This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Science at a middle school in California that focuses on building community among the students. In my class my students spend a vast majority of their time working in small groups. The students enjoy working collaboratively in small groups, on lab experiments, and having class discussions on different scientific phenomena they discover.

My students are brilliant, self-motivated learners who amaze me with their thinking, and creative interpretation on Science.

My students always find a new ingenious way of problem solving that I normally would not have used.

My Project

The kits that you are bringing into my classroom, are going to help the students spark their love, and interest in science, and engineering. You will help provide the students a chance to create, and explore new avenues of learning. The kits will help provide a collaborative learning environment that is student driven, based on inquiry, and discussion.

Help future scientists and engineers find their passion, by allowing them to explore, and create their visions.

The kits will provide this chance to my students by allowing the students to work together in groups to find a common solution. This project allows the students to work together, and problem solve. The project helps the students with their communication, and team building skills.
