This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are from a small town in Mississippi, (Kosciusko). The majority of our students are from low-income families.
We have a very supportive community that holds our schools to the highest standards and demands.
Exposure to new technology is the wave of the future.
The students themselves love interactive learning and our new technological advancements. I want to continue encouraging my students to experience any new technology that will advance their learning ability for their future so they can be competitive with other students in different districts.
My Project
The Rocketbook Wave allows students to show their work in math. After using it, you can clear the pages by heating in a microwave. I want to utilize these notebooks in my group work. The assigned recorder would be the one to write down what the other group members want written. The recorder would be changed each group day. I am excited to see if this will encourage the groups to show their work which will allow me the knowledge if they know the process or not. Also, the work can be printed for future reference. We can show it on the TV screen and talk about the working process.
