My Students

My students have a desire to create new and interesting inventions. Huge topics these days is coding and robotics. In our STEM class we are preparing kids to meet new challenges.

My kids want to create the next great robot.

Most of my students haven't seen a building taller than 10 stories. I teach 6th, 7th and 8th graders in a STEM class. My students are eager little minds just waiting for a chance to show what they can create. I want to make sure they know that they can create great things.

My Project

The focus of STEM is to prepare the students for the life they are about to enter. We want them to be ready to engage the world with skills that will help them tackle any task given to them.

Robots will be taking over the world.

Thousands of jobs currently occupied by humans will soon be taken over by automated machines.

I want to prepare my students to lead in this trend. The Lego Mindstorms kits will be used to help create and program automated vehicles. With these skills in problem solving and coding my kids will be ready lead in the creation of some of these new vehicles.
