This year, we competed against 27 teams that were much bigger than us in robotics. We ranked 13th overall, besting our rivals 3 teams. The kids are hungry for the win. They loved the competition. Seven competed this year, and we will be adding one or two additional teams next year.
Our activities range from dancing the Cupid Shuffle with our robots to delivering packages through our Vex delivery service around the classroom.
My students are truly engaged and enjoy robotics.
Our school is a small, rural school with less than 50 per grade. Approximately 55% qualify for free and reduced-price lunch.
My Project
The requested materials are for helping the robotics team compete against other teams. We ranked 13th out of 28 this year in our competition.
We have some raw talent but need some help with competition tools.
Every other team had dremels to smooth and cut metal. They also had boxes to organize parts for easier access.
We hope to rank in the top 5 next year. These parts will allow our team to have more flexibility and creativity.
This year, our team consisted of 7. Next year, we will be adding
one or two teams as well. We will need the tools to be more competitive.
Join us and help support a quickly growing robotics team.
