My students need the BB-8 App-Enabled Droid with Trainer and Sphero 2.0: The App-Controlled Robot Ball so they can see, use and learn what the next level robot is in the steam classroom.
I am a teacher in a Title 1 school where we have a large population of students who speak English as their second language. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We are a small New York City Public School serving a large immigrant community.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to take their love of robotics and bring it to the next level.
They might not get opportunities to build and work with coding and robotics outside of the school environment. They are really eager and willing to learn. I want to make sure they have this opportunity.
My Project
We are in need of age appropriate building and coding materials to get our students started in the world of robotics. By adding Sphero 2.0: The App-Controlled Robot Ball, BB-8 App-Enabled Droid, Dash Robot and Launcher for Dash Robot, students will see, use, and learn what a next level robot is in the STEAM classroom.
This will allow our future generation of problem solvers to bring their STEAM knowledge to the next level.
Keeping up with the advancements and opportunities in technology, our students' futures will exceed in the right direction. With your help, these robots will be just the beginning of many opportunities for our students.
