Our school is full of eager and energetic learners. All of our students have capabilities, talents, and strengths, all that is missing is exposure and motivation.
Our students take pride in seeing their hard work and pay off.
This is vital to their success since they come from an environment that doesn't always value education. Our school is high poverty, but that too is just an obstacle we will overcome.
The students in my classroom enjoy moving about the room and engaging in hands-on, interactive activities. Both their bodies and minds are always on the move!
My Project
Many of our students are already playing coding games at home, however, most have never applied their coding skills to real robots. In order to have them experience real world STEM Applications, we would need robots that can be programmed according to the code they create.
With this new technology students will be implementing the design process and utilizing the four Cs of 21st Century Skills: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration.
We like integrating technology into our lessons as much as possible because so many of our kids do not have access to it outside of school. Please help our students be able to learn in a hands-on, interactive way!
