Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am Pre K teacher who is lucky enough to work with the sweetest group of children this year. In our classroom, you will find students with big dreams and an array of personalities. The students are passionate learners who invest themselves in their lessons. In our class, we all consider each other family and we love and support each other. My students build each other up and celebrate the growth and accomplishments of their peers. The love can be felt in our classroom.
Our classroom has a large number of students who learn best through touch and visual learning.
They flourish when given the opportunity to work by moving materials and through discovery. In Pre K we learn through purposeful play.
My Project
Robots, Knex, and Pre K engineers oh my! Come into our world of early childhood learning and help us expand our emerging desires to learn how technology is useful and practical through the addition of our very own classroom robot and keep our learning environment clean.
With hands on materials we will become engineers who can turn ideas into reality through the use of our build it center.
We are developing a building creation center with material in this project and others we have on hand. The colorful tower will serve as our storage holder where we will keep all of our steam materials.
The use of a new eco friendly printer will allow our teacher to print materials for stations based on our current goals tied in with our learning theme focus for the 6 weeks.
Other items in our project are so much fun and build our fine motor skills to help us be even better engineers.
