My Students

My students are curious and have questions about the world around them.

"What are we making today?"

These are the words that a student exclaimed as they all enter the classroom at the beginning of the day. My students have investigative young minds. Many of them come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Our Title I school serves students in grades kindergarten through fifth, and we provide rigorous academics, amazing teachers, and a safe and caring learning environment. 83% of our students qualify for free lunch, and our students are eager to learn. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in middle school, high school, college, and the world. We strive to create strong, kind, and caring citizens.

My Project

LEGO Mindstorm robotic kits are a great way to make my students' creativity blossom. After they create their robot, they can then code it and bring their creation to life.

I can build anything that I can imagine?

These resources will enable my students to explore and problem-solve as they work through robotics challenges. They will collaborate and share their ideas and each other. The students start their day with STEAM bins to ease into their learning day. They start the day immersed in LEGO activities, and creating their ideas and dreams.
