My Students

My students are fifth graders with many different interests, hobbies, and ranges of abilities. My students are very creative, fun, and have high energy. Many of my students love sports, dancing, music, reading, and being outside. Our school is in a small rural community that is beginning to be much more developed. My students learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore with hands-on learning materials. I love finding ways to challenge my students and meet their learning needs.

My Project

These two Evo Coding Robots will give my students two more robots to use in our classroom when we code. We have six Ozobots Robots now that we have received from DonorsChoose.org, but with a class of 28 students my students have limited time and have to share. Each student doesn't get a lot of time to really get to understand coding at a deep level. The extra two robots will give my students more opportunities to use the Evo Coding Robots and learn about how coding works. My students will explore and become more familiar with coding. These are important skills for my students to learn!
