Robots For Inquiry Based Learning!

My students need to be proficient with directional words and movements. With the language barriers I have in my classroom, the Cubetto would enhance learning and also provoke computational thinking through coding practice.

My Students

Students at S. Elementary live in a very low income area and for most, the 7 hours they are at school are the safest and happiest hours of their day. S.has one of the highest ESOL (English as a Second Language) in Horry County, South Carolina. Differentiation is a huge necessity in my classroom and these sweet students deserve the materials that can provoke their success in learning. These students are kind, caring, and compassionate and deserve the same in return. By donating, you are not only help me, the educator but you are helping these precious young lives. The Cubetto is a robot that is controlled by a switch board. Cubetto has stories with maps that call for student to interact and plug in a code for Cubetto to move around the map.

My Project

Robots For Enhanced Learning!

Students in my classroom strive off of hands on learning and the Cubetto robot will allow my students to use coding to engage in computational thinking and learning.

My students live a very low income area and would really enjoy using innovative learning materials. They are also very loving and grateful for everything we do in our classroom.

The Cubetto would be used for many learning objectives throughout the year and is something that the students can learn to use on their own. Cubetto is a robot that allows students to interact in many STEM activities and skills that will develop through inquiry based interactions.
