Robots Everywhere!

Help me give my students interactive materials to create and build robots! Preschoolers thrive when they are able to manipulate items to create 3-D works.

My Project

Robots are everywhere...and preschoolers LOVE them! The matching game in this project will pique their interest because of the robots while also practicing color naming and other pre-academic skills. The magnetic robots will allow students to create a variety of robots and use language to describe the physical characteristics of the robot as well as tell stories about what the robot does.

Providing preschoolers with concrete materials, with which they can build things, helps to build their engineering skills and creative thinking.

Items in this project, such as the robot building kit will provide our class with the chance to expand their engineering skills by constructing their own robots from pieces. The over-the-door organizer will help to keep the materials organized and at the students' level for quick access. The balancing robots will also give students the chance to practice engineering skills to find different ways to create towers.
