Robots Everywhere! Let's Go Dayton FIRST Lego League!

My students need a competition robot set this year. The Mindstorms set includes the brain of the robot, motors, sensors and much more. Last year the team borrowed a robot from the elective class.

My Students

In our school district, we have a high need for technology and STEM opportunities for our students. As teachers, we are trying desperately to prepare our students for a future full of new technology.

My students are innovative, inspiring, motivated, and inquisitive.

They are brilliant human beings who I am able to learn from. They far surpass my expectations when given a challenge.

Our school currently has three FIRST Lego League Robotics teams who are ready to start working towards this year's challenge.

My Project

Last year, the competition FIRST Lego League teams were able to work with the robots during the Robotics Elective. Now that the students are no longer in the elective class, they need a robot for this competition season!

Having a Mindstorms robot set of their own would allow the students to modify their robot as needed without worrying about sharing materials with the elective class.

This will also allow the robot they used last year to come back the elective class. It will ensure that students are able to work in the smallest groups possible, with the most hands-on opportunities as possible.
