My Students

I have the honor and privilege of teaching 23 amazing children from rural Indiana. These second graders are ready to be exposed to a plethora of learning avenues. I am ecstatic to guide them and help them!

My students are ready to challenge their minds through meaningful opportunities.

I want to be able to provide them multiple avenues of learning to excite their minds and encourage them to gain interest in the world around them. Please consider helping me in my quest to provide quality learning experiences for them!

My Project

My kids love robotics time in the classroom. I would love to add an Ozobot Bit robot to bring our classroom more STEM fun!

In our school, we are trying to incorporate three main concepts: curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Through the use of the iPad and the Ozobot, we will be able to achieve in-depth understanding of all three of those!

The Ozobot is a simplistic robot and I am able to teach my students developmentally appropriate coding skills. The robot paired with the iPad use also helps them understand how to use the touch screen device to program the robot and not just have it follow lines of markers. We will additionally be able to incorporate the iPad when learning how to use Ozobot's coding system called Ozo-blockly. This would be a welcomed addition to our classroom!
