Help me give my students 35 copies of the book, "The Wild Robot," by Peter Brown.
This project expired on February 24, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My 4th graders are excited and ready to learn. We live in the suburbs of Los Angeles and my students come from hard working, middle class families. My classroom is a second home to them and it provides a safe environment for them to learn.
We need 35 copies of the book, "The Wild Robot." This book would be a great book to read together as a class because my students love robots and animals!
Also, the book goes with our science and social studies content so it would be a perfect read to go with Native American and our energy unit.
My students need interesting books to read as a class to help improve their reading comprehension and help them love reading.
Students in 4th grade are still trying to find books they like and reading books as a class gives them a quality shared experience that they will take with them throughout their life.
Therefore, my students need copies of the book, "The Wild Robot,"
because they are interested in robots and have a love for animals.
This book is about a robot who winds up alone on a deserted island and makes friends with the animals there. My students would love this book because of the content and the important themes of survival and friendship.
