Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students enter our class with a deep desire to be immersed in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
My students are part of a multicultural/gender classroom with an environment based on commitment and the expectation that all children will learn and be successful.
I teach at a Title I school where 87% of the students are on free and reduced lunch. However, poverty does not prevent them from learning. My students know that education is the key to their success.
My Project
Hurricane Harvey has been devastating for our students and school district. However, it has not broken our deep desire to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The LEGO EV3 robot kits will help keep their dreams alive and turn their hopes into reality.
We simply need a little assistance in obtaining the necessary tools to teach this vital curriculum.
While our school district rebuilds our campus, we are rebuilding our students' lives.
The EV3 robot kits will help the students to grow the 21st century learning skills that are necessary in today's job market. Please help make a difference in their lives!
