Our students are small, but mighty coming from Milan, Indiana, the home of the 1954 Milan Indians memorialized in the movie, Hoosiers. Although they come from a small, rural farming community. They dream big as athletes with a dedication unparalleled by others. Unfortunately opportunities and funding is limited in this small, rural town. Students come from low-income households and do not have access to fancy equipment or deluxe athletic opportunities.
This is where our school comes into play.
It is the place where they can aspire to dream big. These students are dedicated to succeed in baseball, but we only have one practice field. This means most kids don't get to use it.
My Project
Organization is a foundation to get things in gear. This project is desperately needed to get our robotics equipment off the floor and organized in a clean safe environment.
Help us purchase the items to get our robots off the floor and on the walls for ease of use and safety.
My kids love to learn and robotics is a huge part of our class instruction.
We have recently been blessed with some equipment but no where to store it safely. The materials for this project will be used to place our class robots, ipads, and headsets on the wall.
