Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is full of 21st century learners. We want to learn with technology!
Our class is made up of a very diverse set of learners.
About 70% of the class is English language learners and 100% of the students are receiving free lunch. Many students do not have access to technology at home. School is where they get the exposure they need to become learners in today's technology-driven world. Technology is very exciting and interesting for students. I want to make sure my students love technology as much as I do. Please help us in reaching our goals.
My Project
We are building a new STEAM lab and makerspace for our school community and need your help. The requested Wonder Workshop Dash robots, storage, and and accessories will make this accessible in a child friendly, developmentally appropriate way. Students will use them to code, collaborate, problem solve, and have fun.
With these resources, our makerspace and STEM lab will have everything a young mind can dream of, allowing students of all ages to take on challenges, problem solve, and work collaboratively.
The Dash robots will elevate their educational experience, preparing them for the engineering challenges of the future. These problem-solving skills will also develop stamina, crossing over to other disciplines, enriching all aspects of their learning.
