Help me give my students 2 Robotics travel cases to take them beyond the walls of our classroom as we study and compete against different countries, communities, and cultures.
The students that I work with on a day to day basis range from 9th - 12th grade. The students are all unique with their own abilities and skill set. I love the dedication my students have when it comes to working with robotics.
What Robotics has done for students at our school has been truly inspirational.
Students are starting to connect the high school to college & career. This has done wonders for students as they start to make plans for after high school. Students can see the real-world application and how the work they are doing can benefit our society.
My Project
Our Robotics program goal is to start taking trips to other countries and/or states to compete against students from different parts of the world.
By taking this trip to Taiwan, students will have the opportunity to find ways to communicate with students who English is not their first language by competing in a Robotics tournament with a variety of students from other countries.
Plus it will allow students to see the potential of study abroad in a country like Taiwan. The experiences and education gained by this trip will allow my students to have a leg up on other students as they head into college and career.
Once this trip is completed, we will continue to use the travel cases for various competitions.
