My students need Sphero robots to enhance our learning of coding and robotics. We are hoping to instill the love of learning through the use of hands-on materials.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My classroom is visited by 64 wonderful 5th and 6th graders each day who have a spark for learning new content, especially using technology. Our district is located in the heart of rural Minnesota and serves about 300 students. I'm so excited to be working in a school district that focuses on teamwork and team-building skills between students and staff alike.
My goal for this school year is to continue the emphasis on collaboration, focusing on group projects and sharing our achievements with our families and community.
Students will be learning how to code and would be able to see a real-life application of their coding through the use of robots.
The problem-solving and collaboration skills they develop are crucial for success and will follow them through their lives.
Seeing their code come to life encourages students to make changes to their existing code and continue their learning until they've accomplished their goal.
Having access to a set of Sphero robots in our classroom would mean that students will be able to use 21st century tools to enhance their learning and gain an important set of lifelong skills.
