My Students

I have a room full of diverse learners who thrive with the ability to create and design on their own.. I am hoping to spark a desire and interest in STEM with an emphasis on robotics, this year by allowing them to design and build their own robot. I want to allow them to experience activities that they can't get at home.

I love seeing my students excited to learn, and enjoying STEM and taking charge of their own learning makes me excited to work with them.

I currently have 15 girls and 14 boys in my classroom. I know that STEM activities create a passion for the science and math fields in all of them.

My Project

The Sony KOOV kit will allow them to design their own robot, which they will be able to code on their own as well. My class is passionate about learning when they have the opportunity to design something on their own. This kit will allow them to problem solve and apply computer science in the classroom.

STEM allows students to explore, problem solve, and think on their own to find out how something works.

This kit will allow them to take ownership of their own learning and ignite their passion about learning and exploring. They will have a hands-on experience with the kit.
