My students need different types of robots to teach them coding, creativity, and to increase their knowledge of how things work. Students will have the opportunity to use multiple robots and learn the differences between them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Title I school is 92% low SES. 60% of our school are Spanish speakers. We love learning about different cultures and creating a community for our students. We are all family and believe that we should build each other up instead of tearing each other down. By pairing Spanish speakers with English speakers, we are able to bridge the language gap and teach each student how special we all are and how important it is to get along with everyone.
My Project
Students will learn to construct, code, and build using the Dash bot and STEM bot kits. They will have opportunities to read about them and how to make them work using the activity books.
Students will love the hands-on experience of working with robots.
They see them on TV, video games, and by having them in our classroom, they can interact with them on a daily basis. Students will gain knowledge and grow technologically without even knowing it through creative play.
Technology is the future and we should expose our students to it today as much as possible. Robots will make the learning process much more fun and exciting.
