My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty area, my students are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom. Every child in our school receives free or reduced lunch, and a large percentage of students are considered homeless. Despite this, my students are excited be part of a learning community where they feel safe and cared for.
Our classroom is an area where students are encouraged to work hard, collaborate with one another, and communicate clearly.
I encourage learning through exploration and value the intrinsic curiosity of my students.
My Project
I am requesting hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, baby wipes, and disinfectant spray to keep my classroom clean and my students healthy! These supplies will help keep germs off our hands, materials, and out of our classroom so we can focus on what is important: reaching our academic goals. The supplies will also encourage my students to take ownership of their learning community and work together to keep our room clean.
I have students in my class who have recently been diagnosed with ringworm and it is spreading.
We Need You! Please help me ensure no other students in my class are forced to deal with this highly contagious infection.
