This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fondest school memory is of my second grade teacher. Today I have the privilege of teaching my own second grade class. My students love science and math and they can spot a new book in our classroom library from a mile away!

Our class especially enjoys learning about animals that they have never seen before from far off places.

They are captivated by videos and pictures of these strange creatures and are always curious to know more. Their love of nature fuels their desire to read.

My Project

Our classroom recently had a computer generously donated to us. Unfortunately the computer has not come with a monitor. Help us raise money to purchase a monitor so that we can see the world open up before our very eyes. This computer will add a learning station to our room where students can access online books, learning programs, and develop projects and reports. In a ever changing world, technology is becoming increasingly important and teaching students how to responsibly use technology is extremely vital. Your donation will not only help our classroom this year but for many years to come.
